Valentine's Day
We will be celebrating friendship and kindness on Wednesday, February 14.
We will be making cards in class and having a few treats.
Students are invited to bring extra cards and/or treats from home, but it is not required.
In kindergarten, it is helpful if these items do not have specific names on them. This makes passing things out a lot easier.
We have 21 students!

to
We will be working hard to prepare for
our spelling test on January 31.
WRITING
We are growing as writers every day!
We have begun completing pieces like this:
MATH
In math we are learning to compare objects by length, weight and quantity.
The 4 stick is shorter than the 5 stick.
The format is new this year.
Please note that the marking WK indicates the Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills. This information was discussed in detail at our October Parent-Teacher Conference. Let me know if you would like more information about your child's academic progress. I am always happy to meet with you!
The turn out was way more than we had expected! Next year we will plan for the crowd with more space and better views of the singing.
Thank you for being such a fun and festive community!
